The Scoop Newsletter November 2019 Hello Pearl friends! Welcome to the first of many newsletters! The Scoop will come out once a month highlighting what is going on around The Pearl, The Pearl Coffee House, and The Pearl Confectionery. Us Soda Jerks want to share our exciting news with you more often so we have started a newsletter. Our goal is to strengthen the communication between us and all of you. A few things we will highlight in The Scoop include but are not limited to, seasonal ice cream flavors, seasonal candies and fudge, promotions, events, and upcoming activities downtown. We hope you tune in for a sweet ride! November Treats Weather in Wisconsin has officially shifted to the cold season! Don’t worry, we understand if it’s too cold for ice cream. Although, all of us at The Pearl can agree it’s never too cold for ice cream in the Driftless region! Fall brings out some of our best seasonal ice cream flavors, like Autumn Pumpkin and Chai Tea Chip. Once Chai Tea Chip is gone we will be introducing a new flavor! Wait for it…ROCKY ROAD! Rocky Road is a chocolate ice cream with marshmallow swirls and sprinkles of slivered almonds and chocolate chips throughout. A classic yet fantastic flavor! If you do find it too cold to have a frozen treat, The Pearl has so many other goodies to offer. Stop by and check out our homemade dipped chocolates from our famous pecan turtles to our new vanilla creams. Are you looking for some treats to bring to your Thanksgiving gathering? Come in and check out our fall favorites like Peanut Butter Caramel Corn, Maple Goodies, Deluxe Harvest Mix, or Homemade Caramel Corn. Whatever sweet craving you have this fall, we’ve got you covered.
Events Downtown in November
November is a good month to unwind and reflect on all the things we are thankful for. We will be doing that on Thursday, November 28 as we are closed for Thanksgiving. Stop by beforehand to stock up on goodies for the host! Here at The Pearl we are so thankful for all of you-- Your patronage is what helps our small business continue to be a place of happiness for many people. There is a day dedicated to celebrate all the small businesses in the area. Saturday, November 30th is Small Business Saturday! Stop by to support all your favorite shops on Pearl Street West. All the shops on Pearl Street West will have samples, specials and lots of smiles. At The Pearl we have a tradition on Small Business Saturday-- Any customer can enter to win a gift card! Come on by, shop around and see what Small Business Saturday is all about. Another event that kicks off this month is La Crosse’s famous Rotary Lights. This year Rotary Lights will be celebrating 25 years. This free event opens Friday, November 29th and ends December 31st. Monetary donations or a non-perishable food item are encouraged. Before you head down to Riverside Park to check out the 3,000,000 lights on display, stop by The Pearl Coffee House and grab yourself a hot beverage. We hope to see you downtown for these upcoming events!
