SHIPPING

Holiday season is upon us! Please expect orders to take up to 10 business days to ship, depending on products ordered. We are a small Confectionery operation, and there are shortages industry-wide right now with ingredients, labor and packaging, in addition to freight delays. Plan ahead for any orders needed for the holiday season! USPS is recommending ship dates of Dec 15th to arrive by Christmas. Orders take days to prepare, so please leave ample time and order early! If we are overwhelmed or running low on stock, we will turn off online ordering as the holidays near. We appreciate your patience and support.

We ship USPS 2-3 Day Priority Service. All orders are shipped from our shop in

La Crosse, Wisconsin. We do not offer shipping to PO Box, APO, FPO, Guam or international addresses.

Most orders placed after Wednesday will be held, if they will be held in transit over the weekend. This is depending upon time of day the order is placed and the recipient location.

The Pearl LLC is not liable for delay of shipment due to natural disasters, shipping carrier delays that are caused by weather, labor disputes, refusal of package, and incorrect shipping information

COVID-19 update: Due to recent events, Priority Mail is taking longer than normal for transit times, so expect shipping delays. We are not responsible for any delays in freight beyond our control.

Once your shipping label has been created, we will send you an order fulfillment email that includes a tracking number with your order. Priority Mail freight automatically includes $50 of shipping insurance.

RATES

The Pearl offers $12.95 flat rate domestic shipping on any order. Orders placed must be sent to the same address. If sending to multiple addresses, you will need to place individual orders and pay for shipping per address.

WEATHER

The Pearl's chocolates and candies may require special handling when the weather is warm where your order is being shipped. Chocolates have the potential to melt at 70 degrees Fahrenheit or if left in the sun at an address.

We will package with cold packs and take care for heat sensitive items to any products shipped to warm weather addresses or during warm months.

If you need to ship to a residence and you cannot be home, please leave a note instructing that the package be placed under shade. In the event your package has been sitting in heat, let it "rest" at room temperature for a few hours to give it a chance to return to normal consistency.

Note: Chocolates are very heat and temperature-change sensitive. Even with an ice pack, natural "blooming" could occur, which can alter the look and shine of our chocolates. This does not affect the taste or safety of the product, just the physical appearance. We will package your product in a way to try to eliminate any changes due to shipping or weather, but cannot be responsible for these changes.

 

Please keep in mind, shade will not ensure that your product doesn't melt it is just a preventative measure. If possible, try to ship your order to a business address as businesses often receive shipments earlier in the day and someone is onsite.

REFUSED SHIPMENTS

Purchaser will be liable for a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping charge. If product is lost or damaged on return to The Pearl, purchaser is responsible for full charge if not covered by USPS insurance.
